Doris Frohn

Doris M. Frohn, 80, of the Village of Lake Hallie, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014 at her home. A celebration of Doris’ life will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 25, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel in Chippewa Falls with the Rev. George Olinske officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be held on Wednesday at Prairie View Cemetery in the Village of Lake Hallie.

Doris M. Frohn, 80, of the Village of Lake Hallie, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014 at her home.

Doris was born May 21, 1934, in Glen Flora to Mary Marie (Lesser) and Melvin Biller.

On Aug. 9, 1951, Doris married Louis P. Frohn in Pine City, Minn. They resided in Chippewa Falls where Doris worked for Chippewa Shoe, drove school bus, and was a cook at Sweeney’s Bar and Grill and Peterson’s Resort. Louis preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 1985.

She loved to cook and bake. She always made sure that the hunters in the family had cookies for the woods. She enjoyed reading, watching NASCAR, cheering on the Packers, and getting together with friends to play “Hand and Foot” or “6,5,4.”

She will be dearly missed by her four daughters Linda Trott (Kurt Hennig), Cindy (Mark) Hanson, Kim (Dan) Wood and Lisa Hayes (Jon Leiser); her brother Harold (June) Biller; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son Michael Frohn; her daughter Melanie Hanson; her grandson Travis Wood; her brother and sister-in-law Jim and Kathy Biller; her great-grandson Nikolas McMartin; and her son-in-law Dennis Trott.

A celebration of Doris’ life was held Tuesday, Nov. 25, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel in Chippewa Falls with the Rev. George Olinske officiating. Burial was on Wednesday at Prairie View Cemetery in the Village of Lake Hallie.
