Hiking to Jochberg at the border between the Walchensee and the Kochelsee. A sea of clouds covers the latter. Wonders of the Bavarian pre-Alps.

Hey @sandra_dve,
Welcome to Connect!
Would you mind sharing more information about this place? Did it take long to reach this amazing view? I just love such trips but I am usually in for not more than 2-3 hours walking.
Since you are new here I'd like to recommend you this article that will help you get familiar with the program. You can also introduce yourself in our monthly section and meet others from the community.

Hi,
It takes roughly 2h going up and the same going down, depends on your speed and how many times you stop to take pics 😉
The path is very well indicated and easy to walk, just a bit steep sometimes.
You can have a look at the route details here: https://www.hiking-buddies.com/routes/routes_list/164/
Thanks for the recommendations!
Best

Hallo @sandra_dve ,

Wow, insanely beautiful landscape @sandra_dve thank you for sharing this amazing photo with us here. I really love the photo from above.
Is it located in Germany or any country? Maybe you can tell us more about this.

Hello @Sophia_Cambodia ,
Also it is @sandra_dve post, there is following information about the Jochberg.
It is a mountain in the North Alps in Germany. Not far away from Austria.
It is a popular destination for a one day trip from Munich with a real great view.
Comparred with other mountains you need some exercise to walk (not climb!) .

I am glad to hear that @TorM and I will definitely put this in my trip's schedule when visiting the two countries.
I worked for German's development agency and I made plan with my German coworker that that we will go on road trip between Germany and Australia maybe in the next couple years. Looking forward to the visit!
