Those who want to hit some squash or tennis balls again, can use the hotel’s own tennis and indoor courts. Trained instructors are happy to assist with technique or teeing off on the green. Or you can strengthen your body in the 500m² Indoor & outdoor fitness area. The deep blue water of the Lake Achensee in the immediate vicinity of the hotel has a magnetic attraction and calming effect at the same time. During hikes or while biking, one’s view always wanders to the lake or the pointed peaks of the surrounding Karwendel mountains. During Wintertime, the region is a perfect spot for Downhill and Cross-Country Skiing.
The private Lipizzaner breed of the Posthotel Achenkirch is truly unique as it is considered one of the largest in Europe. The white, noble horses are available to guests for riding lessons in the attached riding hall, on the free riding arena with certified riding instructors or available for a ride through the idyllic nature.
Guests can mentally recharge with Kung Fu, Qi Gong, Yoga-/Pilates retreats or a meditation with our Shaolin master in the dojo room. Here they can choose between a lot of activities in the weekly program. It calms the mind and sharpens the eye for the fundamental parts of life.
