Manchester City have been linked with another move for Real Madrid's Brazilian superstar Kaka.

The Blues are set to offer striker Emmanuel Adebayor plus £22.5m for Kaka, report the Daily Mail.

Adebayor is on loan at the Bernabeu, but after intially impressing, the Togo forward's form has begun to fade.

Kaka, meanwhile, has struggled with form and fitness since his move to La Liga. He was the subject of a stunning £100m bid from the Blues last January, but instead went to Madrid. This time, City might be able to use Champions League football as a lure.

Last month City boss Roberto Mancini hinted that he is putting a creative midfielder, or 'trequartista' at the top of his summer shopping list.

Asked if his priority is to sign creative players, he said: “It is possible because if you have creative players in the squad it is better.

“When you are not playing well and you have a talented player like David (Silva) he is able to change the game.

“It is not easy to find a good player like David but you want to try.”

Should City go back in for Kaka? Have your say.
