On this page you can find out how to get to us. We give you all the tips you can think of for a cheap and safe arrival in Ried im Innkreis.

 

First a small geographical overview. Ried im Innkreis is located in Upper Austria and borders on the Federal Republic of Germany and the Czech Republic. We are only 15 km from the German border (Bad Füssing). The nearest motorway border crossing is 30 km from Ried im Innkreis and connects the A3 in Germany with the A8 in Austria. (Autobahn border crossing SUBEN) Ried im Innkreis has its own exit. The closest border crossing to the Czech Republic is Vissy Brod at 120 km. by car from Germany:

 

FreewayA3Regensburg in the direction of Passau to the Suben border crossing. (The Austrian motorways are subject to toll!) A 10-day vignette (smallest vignette) costs 9.20 EURO. The vignettes are available at Austrian motorway service stations and at the Suben border crossing. You can also get these  from ADAC, DEKRA or from German rest stops just before the border. At the Suben border crossing you come directly to the A8 motorway. Continue on this road until you reach the Ried iI motorway exit (approx. 15 km). At the end ofExit RIGHT towards Ried iIFollow this road until you reach the village"Tumeltsham"drive through At the beginning of Ried im Innkreis (before the underpass) turn right.(Pay attention to the signage: MESSE)Turn left on the main road towards Salzburg for about 1.5 km. Departure: Ried NORTH/MESSE). At the end of the street (Kasernstrasse) turn right. You are in front of the roundabout directly at the exhibition center.

 

by car from within Austria:

by train to Ried:

 

Getting to Ried from Austria is not a problem. Please note that you do not get off at Bahnhof Ried im Innkreis, but continue to the stopRied im Innkreis FAIR. This bus stop is right next to the exhibition center and it takes less than five minutes to walk to the hall. For some time now there has also been a more or less cheap connection to MUNICH main station - this option should not be ignored either. (single trip: from approx. €44.20)

by plane to Ried:

 

It is also possible to travel to Ried by plane. You can choose from four airports, which are of course at different distances and are served by different airlines. You have the option of flying to AIRPORT LINZ (Blue Danube) (76 km from Ried), you have the option of flying to AIRPORT SALZBURG (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart) (80 km from Ried), further the FLUGHAFEN WIEN (Vienna Airport) distance 260 km and the AIRPORT MUNICH (Franz Josef Strauss) and the airport NUREMBERG with a distance of 205 km.
