Just days after “CSI: Miami” star Eddie Cibrian and country singer LeAnn Rimes first flaunted their relationship in public, the TV star has filed for divorce from his wife.
Cibrian’s estranged spouse Brandi Glanville told E! News today that he “filed yesterday, and I accept it. We’re getting a divorce. We talked to each other yesterday.”
Court papers confirm the split.
In the documents, Cibrian cites irreconcilable differences and is seeking custody of the couple’s two sons, Mason, 6, and Jake, 2.
The 36-year-old actor has also requested spousal support from Glanville.
Rimes, 26, recently separated from her husband, songwriter and former dancer Dean Sheremet, whom she married in 2002 when she was 19.
In May, the couple put their Nashville home went on the market for $7.45 million.
Commenting on Cibrian’s relationship with Rimes, Glanville told E! “they’re going on vacation this weekend to Mexico … I’m looking forward to seeing those pictures…It’s just over for me.”
