When we redesigned our Rettenbach Market Restaurant, one thing was of great importance to us: to capture the typical Austrian character that you love so much and - at the same time - to make your glacier experience as smooth as possible thanks to all modern comforts. From October to May, you can hit the immaculate slopes of Sölden’s ski area and conquer scenic Rettenbach Glacier in your own way. As well included: Rettenbach Market Restaurant at 3000 meters above sea level, which alternates with the Snow Beach on Tiefenbach Glacier during the summer.

You've probably already heard the music and you can hardly miss the smiling faces: Gletscherspalte is your relaxation heaven offering true lounge feeling and après-ski flair right next to the Rettenbach Market Restaurant at the "Schwarze Schneid" base station and the "Gletscherexpress" top station. Treat yourself to spicy mulled tea or a glass of champagne from our huge champagne selection while meeting ski aficionados and winter sports connoisseurs from all over the world at the legendary Gletscherspalte après-ski party - thanks to the movable roof also open-air under the blue sky of the Alps.
