Kenneth L. Liesch
Neenah - Kenneth L. Liesch, age 85, of Neenah, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. On June 16, 1936, Kenneth Lewis was born to Kenneth J. and Beatrice T. (Lewis) Liesch. Following high school, he enlisted in the military serving in Germany. Ken was united in marriage to Judith Alderton on November 9, 1957. He was employed by American Can as a Millwright.
Ken had a love for the outdoors being a "North Woods kind of guy." He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, bowling and gardening (hating chipmunks, rabbits and squirrels). He also enjoyed a good Manhattan and looked forward to sitting around the campfire saying "It doesn't get any better than this!" Ken always had a secret stash of goodies that he enjoyed eating at night.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 63 years, Judith; their children: Peter (Georgianne) Liesch, Terri (Troy) Kasten, Jan (Perry) Alger, Cheryl (Steve) Holcombe, Kris (special friend, Tony Ciske) Kreutzberg; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
The celebration of Ken's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division Street, Neenah, with Fr. Dennis Bergsbaken officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the church. Burial will be in the Laona Cemetery in Laona, WI. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established for St. Joseph Food Pantry or the Salvation Army.
