Szentendre

Szentendre

Szentendre is known not only for its Danube embankment promenade, cobblestone streets and Mediterranean atmosphere. Nowhere else in the country are there as many museums and galleries - calculated on the number of inhabitants - as here. That is exactly why the city is the perfect place for art and culture lovers, or a contemplative stroll. Here you can enjoy Hungarian cuisine and breathe the Hungarian way of life. From the church of St. Peter and Paul you can enjoy a beautiful view over the Danube landscape.

Near the city center there is a large Ethnographic Open Air Museum, which shows all Hungarian villages and the historical and peasant way of life (SKANZEN).
