Even if you are not a believer, you can sense the peace and tranquillity that the Benedictine monks live here in the monastery as you pass through the imposing gate. For 850 years, the monastery has defied the challenges of time and, after extensive renovation, shines more proudly than ever on the high plateau. Visitors can experience the fascinating life of the monks on a guided tour or watch the production of fine spirits and liqueurs. There is also the opportunity to visit the Habsburg mausoleum.
