Bad Kleinkirchheim, on the edge of the stunning Nock Mountain National Park, offers a relaxed and less busy atmosphere compared to its nearby counterparts. As a town originally noted for its agriculture, Bad Kleinkirchheim has become just as well known for its fantastic ski opportunities in more recent years. Its sunny position, with access to both south and north facing slopes, means that it is a treat for skiers who can enjoy sunshine skiing throughout the day. The long, wide slopes are perfect for beginners and for those who enjoy some cruisey runs from the heights, all the way back into the town. The famed Olympic gold-winning downhill skier Franz Klammer, hails from Bad Kleinkirchheim. A highly celebrated character, he is still active on the slopes around BKK, so keep your eyes peeled!
With its roots in farming, it’s no surprise that the resort's hotels and restaurants pay special attention to offering great quality food, using the freshest ingredients, from local suppliers wherever possible. My love of skiing in winter and cycling in summer means that I know Austria pretty well and I want you to love it just as much as I do. Our excellent team is here to ensure you enjoy your well earned ski holiday, so please let them know if you have any questions. Our aim is that you return home happy, so let us deal with anything that gets in the way of that, when you are in resort.
