The lively center of Tirolo extends around the parish church, which was already mentioned in documents in 1164. Modern, trendy stores, the obligatory vendors of South Tyrolean specialties, cozy bars and restaurants populate the lively, densely built center. From here you can reach the most important attractions of Tirolo in just a few steps: the romantic Schlossweg, which leads to Castle Tirol, the Mediterranean Falconer's Promenade and the educational Wine Trail. On summer evenings, every Monday in July and August, the event "Tiroler Abendrot" takes place in the center of the village: Stores stay open longer, gastronomic specialties await on every corner, plus a colorful children's program.

A visit to the South Tyrolean Regional Museum for Cultural and Regional History is particularly popular on warm September days, as the last of the summer heat doesn't stand a chance behind the thick castle walls! And so you can get to know the history of South Tyrol from the Stone Age to the present in noble halls, stately rooms, narrow staircases and hidden corners.

The entire path is characterized by its perfectly maintained beds with fragrant lavender and rosemary, but also countless Mediterranean trees and shrubs such as cypresses, palms and olive trees.
3

Pay a visit to the Burglehen Park

At the entrance to the village of Tirolo is the spacious Burglehen Park. Here, near the natural pond, inhabited by carp, ducks and turtles, you can lie in the sun among the flowers of a natural meadow. Or you sit on one of the many benches listening to the sound of the sedges and enjoy the view. The playground here makes Burglehen Park a perfect stop if you have children in tow.
