In the centre of Salla you can get from one place to another conveniently on foot, but in the vast municipal district a vehicle might be needed.

Moving around by foot
In the Sallatunturi centre or in the Salla village it is easy to reach services and places by walking. Just remember that walking on the ski tracks in winter (the whole 3m wide area between grooves) is forbidden!
