Salla-day has been celebrated on Salla’s name day on 19th of July every year for the past 40 years and this year is no different! Come and enjoy the traditional celebrations that take over Salla town center. The main areas of the event are Kansantie, Salla sports field, the library and the museum. The program inlcudes live music, speeches, stalls full of handicrafts and local delicacies, games for children and much more.
