In a bid to break up a pretty bleak news cycle, celebrities are doing their bit by getting engaged and married in quick succession. In September, Natalia Vodianova and Antoine Arnault married in a très chic affair in Paris, while model Jasmine Tookes enjoyed an ultra extravagant proposal in Arizona from her now fiancé Juan David Borrero. Not to mention Emily In Paris star Lily Collins, who just got engaged during a romantic couple’s camping trip in a national park. Now we can add model Toni Garrn and actor Alex Pettyfer to the ever-growing list.
The couple exchanged vows in front of a few close friends and family in Garrn’s hometown of Hamburg, Germany. Wearing a Rat & Boa shimmering gold slip dress and a straw hat with a playful ribbon, Garrn was the picture of relaxed elegance on her big day. The happy bride posted a photograph of her kissing her new husband, who starred with Channing Tatum in Magic Mike (2012), on Instagram, and wrote: “Now you really get to call me wifey.”

Garrn also shared a few behind-the-scenes style insights from her big day on her Instagram Stories. “Too summery for 10C?” she asked, referring to her light-as-a-feather slip dress and Germany’s less than balmy temperatures. “Naaaa,” she added.
Of course, there was the obligatory bridal bathroom selfie, too. Garrn captured her tousled beach waves and fresh-faced make-up look in the mirror ahead of the ceremony. The snap also revealed the simple gold and black earrings that completed her look.
The newlyweds have been dating since February 2019, and got engaged on 31 December. “Some people marry their best friend. Some people marry their soulmate. I got both,” Pettyfer revealed on social media while sharing a small clip of the special moment. The burning question remains: who will be next to tie the knot in 2020?
