Hittisau is the village with the most alps in Austria, with numerous private alps. Streches of forest are replaced with agricultural paths offering great views on the trail.

This walk takes you to the region of the Hinterberg alps, located behind the striking Hittisberg. Hittisau is the village with the most alps in Austria, with numerous private alps. Stretches of forest are replaced with agricultural paths offering great views on the trail – and you get lovely views of Hittisau, especially on the final stage close to Stöcken.
