Nature within reach!
A visit to the National Park Worlds - this unique, 1,800 m² alpine adventure world - gets under your skin: The Hohe Tauern National Park with the highest peaks in Austria and its inhabitants such as ibex, chamois or the snow mouse seems to be within reach.
Ten stations are waiting to be explored: Entertaining, on your own initiative and at your own pace. For the eagle flight panorama over the National Park valleys, film teams travelled 120 hours by helicopter: visitors can choose their preferred "eagle flight" at the touch of a button. The World of Marmot & Co is particularly fun: In addition to a spectacular film through all seasons, a large marmot burrow in particular arouses the interest of children. Via the treasure trove of precious minerals, 3D cinema and a legendary cave, the journey continues into the mountain forest gallery. Photos, audio samples and relaxation loungers await visitors in the alpine summer, while Wild Water presents the wealth of streams, mountain lakes, moors and waterfalls. The avalanche dome corresponds to a 270-degree cinema box with magnificent shots of an avalanche and the Krimmler Waterfalls. The glacier world concludes with a real block of ice, the Pasterzen time wheel and exciting information about glacier ice. The absolute highlight is the 360-degree panorama world with a diameter of around 16 metres, in which up to 80 visitors are transported into completely new spheres by state-of-the-art HD projection technology and experience a unique nature and summit experience.
The entire building is barrier-free.
Unfortunately no dogs are allowed in the exhibition! (except for guide dogs for the blind or disabled)
