Star Wars: The Force Awakens doesn't come out for another 49 days (not that we're counting), but it's already looking like this movie is going to have the funnest, most interesting promotional tour ever. Case in point: Harrison Ford stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night—in a hot dog costume—to explain why he once talked to George Lucas about killing off Han Solo during the original three movies.

“I asked him to ask the writers to kill me off, because I thought that it would be good that the character who appeared to have not so much of a complex interweaving with the theme of the Force and all that good stuff...” Ford said. “I thought it would be good that the character, if he sacrificed himself in some noble way.”

Ford, who will (obviously) be reprising his role as Solo for The Force Awakens, went on to say he, like the rest of us, is happy Han stuck around. Yet, there’s something in his pause when asked if he’s glad Solo wasn't killed off that seems peculiar ... What are you telling us Harrison?!
