Veteran Philadelphia broadcaster Jeff Asch serves KYW Newsradio as a news anchor.
Asch joined KYW from WCAU-TV, where he was a sports producer, sports anchor, and sports reporter. Before that, he worked at WCAU Radio as a sports talk show host and sports producer. He held various positions at other area radio stations as well.
Asch also handles public address duties for the Philadelphia Eagles. Understanding the importance of introducing young people to the broadcasting industry, Asch has served as a senior adjunct professor and radio and television adviser at Montgomery County Community College for more than 20 years. He also taught at LaSalle University.
Asch is a Philadelphia native. He attended Central High School and then Temple University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in communications and theater.
Asch and his wife, Susan, have two sons, David and Michael.
