The Sagrada Família is an unfinished basilica designed by the celebrated Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. The construction of the Sagrada Família began 135 years ago and is expected to complete by the year 2030.

On entering the basilica, you see the ceiling rising up to a height of seventy meters. The structure uses a Latin cross plan with five aisles that are ornamented with symbolism for the Holy Family. The central nave vaults rise up to 150 feet while the side vaults reach 100 feet in height.

Gaudí used a combination of the Gothic and the Art Nouveau style, which is inspired by natural designs and curved lines, in the design of the structure, which is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The crypt, located beneath the apse, can also be visited and has a central altar together with the four Chapels. A Roman mosaic borders the crypt floor.

The tickets also include entry to the Sagrada Família Museum, which preserves the drawings, models, and designs of the building.

The Sagrada Família has three facades: the Nativity Façade (East), the Passion Façade (West), and the Glory Façade (South).
