ASCH worked with Beyer Brown and OZ Architecture in producing gorgeous designs for the Curio Breckenridge!
We recently completed the refresh of public spaces within the Breckenridge Double Tree. Built in 1985, the hotel is being up-branded within the Hilton family of brands. The lobby, lobby bar, and restaurant have a fresh new vibe and are open to guests! The local history inspired the design, and each space has a story that pays homage to the characters that settled here and made the Town of Breckenridge what it is today. Natural mountain colors and materials thread through the spaces, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere. Earlier this year, The Junto Hotel - a long-awaited project from JNS - opened it's doors. The Junto Hotel is part of a nine-block, mixed-use development in Columbus, Ohio that features a thoughtful mix of residences, retail, offices and parking. The intent for the design of the façade was to pay tribute to the once economically repressed neighborhood’s industrial roots, ensuring that the essence of the area was not lost amidst an evolving urban landscape. The design therefore seeks to evoke a sense of continuity within the Franklinton neighborhood and seamlessly integrate into its fabric. Drawing inspiration from nearby bridges, railway lines and firehouses, the design team leveraged humble materials like brick, steel and wood to capture the grit and spirit of Franklinton.
