The VLT (Very Large Telescope) complex on Cerro Paranal, in the Atacama desert (2635 mt of altitude), 120 km south of Antofagasta. Four big telescopes that form the biggest eye on the space from the earth. The telescopes are operated by ESO, the European southern Observatory.
